The friendliest service I've had in a long time. The food was good, and the prices were low. Charlie's Bar and Grill is truly a hidden gem!

This is an awesome place. Food is always good here. The people who go here are awesome. Stopped by for a drink and it is always busy. The wait staff is great and is very attentive. Have the chili. It is great and had lots of extras. I would recommend this place to anyone that wants a local bar too visit and have a local vibe. Great place for friends.

This is a fantastic neighborhood bar/restaurant. We've been coming here for 30+ years and have never had a bad meal yet! There's a good selection of draft beer and the cocktails are very generous. Whether you want to eat, drink or both, this is the perfect place to go.

We stopped in here around St. Patrick's Day for a Reuben and were not disappointed. Quaint inside and a delicious sandwich.

We had a coupon and had never been here so we decided to try it out. They have a wide variety of choices and they have several lunch deals. The food was good, the prices were decent, the service was very friendly, and the atmosphere was nice.

Nothing wrong with the food,but the plate my burger came on was too small for the amount of stuff,just an observation.

Really great quality food. Local ingredients where available. I had the walleye dinner was great. Then the wife and I ordered again and got coconut shrimp in the shrimp artichoke dip they were excellent!

We were just stopping by for a drink, changed our mind and was leaving when Charlie herself stopped us and was wondering why we were leaving. We decided to stay for one drink. Very friendly, family atmosphere.

We had takeout tonight and the meals were delicious. Charlie's has the best shrimp basket. It is delicious. Charlie's during this time is a good choice !!!

Not Disapointed at all! We had Wings, Burger, and BLT...great. The food is good, don't worry! I happen to love the dark, but clean atmosphere. I felt relaxed. It was pretty empty, but we were there at an odd time. What I loved most about this place was the awesome comraderie between staff..good vibes make all the difference. They have Keno and Lots of Beer choices Oh...our waitress was super cool. She was fun and classy.

Very cute Mom and Pop shop with a good menu and great staff.

It has a dimly lit yet lively atmosphere. The menu is vast but not overwhelmingly so. The hamburgers are exceptionally good and all other menu items I've had were very good too. They will have most of your favorite beers on tap. Last but not least, the staff is great.

This a quaint, presumably quiet, little hole in the wall Bar & Grille. But my God! The food is FANTASTIC (and solid portions)! And it's not always quiet. This place can be busy (a good sign, right?). The servers are all amongst the best in the entire Grand Rapids area... Seriously, this is a place that you need to check out! Charlie herself has been here and stopped at our table every time I've been here. Drinks, food, servers - all amazing,

Great place , however I was escorted off the premises for reasons unknown.Was minding my own business and was told to leave for no reason.Still not 100% and willing to explore this claim but truthfully this response is inappropriate

He had not been to Charlie's in many years. Friends of ours go, so we thought we would try it. I had the chicken sandwich, with ham and cheese on it. The lettuce and tomato for crispy and very nice portions. The chicken was terrific, the sandwich was hot and so are the fries. My husband had a burger with mushrooms and swiss and he was very pleased with it. I Won't Wait years to go back.

Awesome staff, delicious comfort food, great drinks, there is a reason you will wait for a bar stool or table if you don't get there early! Charlie is very sweet, and she talks to all her customers!

Excellent local restaurant with a full bar. Most of the menu is homemade. Charlie is likely to greet you personally. Almost 24 years in business with a wide selection on the menu. Mexican, Italian, Steak, Shrimp, Fish and Chips, Sandwiches, Burgers, a wide selection of grilled cheese with homemade tomato soup. Generous pours on the mixed drinks. My very picky son about hamburgers said it is "The best hamburger he has ever had and he regrets not coming sooner".
